Let's talk today, my friends friends about a hot word, a hot word that's used a lot.

It's definitely a buzz word in lots of different ways.

Especially since moving to America, I notice this word is used a lot in corporate settings,

especially now even in social settings, it is the term accountability, right, taking accountability, being accountable to someone

having an accountability group and accountability partner. This comes up a lot. And look, I support it. Whatever helps, right, whatever is going to benefit you, whatever is going to help you get the best results, right, and the best timing for you through everything at your success.

But one thing that I've always thought is slightly different about me

is the fact that I've never needed accountability.

I don't need an accountability partner or an accountability buddy or an accountability

check-in. I don't need it. And why am I showing this with you today, right? Because I think that if you're

like me, maybe you feel kind of understood right now and you're not joining the

accountability groups and people are having a lot of fun and they're getting together a

lot or maybe you do feel that you need accountability and it's lacking in your life somehow from an external force

meaning somebody else and you think gosh if I just had this accountability then

maybe my life my my work, my business, my tasks, my actions to complete would be easier.

They'd be ticked off more smoothly. My life would just be running at full steam ahead with accountability.

I was thinking about it in the last few days and I think the reason I don't need accountability

is because I don't have as many priorities as everybody else.

I would say overall I do a few things well.

And those few things are important things that really move the needle, that don't have me busy dipping my finger into loads of different pies, trying different things needing accountability.

I've said it once, I'll say it a million times,

working on the right thing is more important than working hard.
