0:24.0	Today we're going to talk with Renee Cormier, the author of the University of Gravel Roads, a great travel book about his four-year

1:05.0	Very interesting guy to talk to you and the book, the University of Gravel Roads is absolutely fantastic.
1:10.0	And I may have stumped him right off the bat with my first question when I asked him to give his name and describe what he does
1:18.0	Well, the name part is easy that's when they call me in and what I do is it falls roughly into two camps. The biggest thing that we do is
1:27.0	guided motorcycle touring organization in southern Africa that keeps us busy to after the year.
1:34.3	And our second thing that we do is we do a lot of inspirational speaking and speaking about global
1:41.2	travel to other motorcycle dealers and rallies. and revolves around motorcycling and that's what we spend the most time there.
1:53.6	Renee, you have a fantastic book here called the University of gravel Roads,
1:58.5	global lessons from a four-year motorcycle adventure.
2:01.6	Give us an overview. The trip
2:03.5	itself started in Vancouver and initially I thought I had enough money for a
2:07.7	three year around the world trip and my budget was 2525 a day.
2:13.3	So that's how much I allowed myself for fuel accommodation,
2:17.2	a little bit of internet time, borders,
2:20.4	some miscellaneous money for borders,
2:21.6	but $25 a day was for my budget in US dollars if it matters.
2:25.3	And two and a half years into the trip, I'm having a wonderful time, but I've only gotten as far as South America.
