Very interesting guy to talk to you and the book, the University of Gravel Roads is absolutely fantastic.

And I may have stumped him right off the bat with my first question when I asked him to give his name and describe what he does

Well, the name part is easy that's when they call me in and what I do is it falls roughly into two camps. The biggest thing that we do is

guided motorcycle touring organization in southern Africa that keeps us busy to after the year.

And our second thing that we do is we do a lot of inspirational speaking and speaking about global

travel to other motorcycle dealers and rallies. and revolves around motorcycling and that's what we spend the most time there.

Give us an overview. The trip

itself started in Vancouver and initially I thought I had enough money for a

three year around the world trip and my budget was 2525 a day.

So that's how much I allowed myself for fuel accommodation,

a little bit of internet time, borders,

some miscellaneous money for borders,

but $25 a day was for my budget in US dollars if it matters.

And two and a half years into the trip, I'm having a wonderful time, but I've only gotten as far as South America.
