Good morning.

You went out to dinner last night, Aaron.

Yeah, the investor dinner for something tech.

And as much as I was feeling pretty exhausted before heading in, I'm glad I went.

It was a good night, really good night.

Lots of investors from interstate were there.

Some founders in the room met a good, a good founder that we're going to have a combo with

that hasn't raised any capital today, but it's built an 8-mill ARR business.

So that was a good connection.

And then, yeah, a couple from Constellation

chatting to them about their acquisition model, an investor from Sydney who runs a fund

that started in a similar way to us with syndication and has kept syndication on the side of the

fund. So yeah, it was a good night. Is he a happy functioning person? Like what do we have to look forward to?

He launched the fund in 2019 and they deployed their capital very fast and his co-founder

was like, we should be not deploying so quickly. And then he was saying in hindsight,

he regrets not holding onto some

of that capital because now it is so brutally hard for them to raise. I was like, okay, great.

And a lot of 2020, 21 valuation stuff, I'm sure. Yeah, exactly. But really good night.

Looking forward to the next two days, it's something tech as well. Yeah, how are you, Ashton Jack? Yeah, don't will. It's cold down in Adelaide again. Yeah, it's raining this morning, which is a shame. Like, we've had some really nice weather. Yeah. It's a bit chilly here, which is why I've got my jumper on. I don't know if you're aware, but I've been to Stanford. I was going to say, but you didn't go Tuesday. I went. I went to Stanford. I was just wondering, I was wondering, where's the marathon medal? I saw the jump on. I don't even know where it is, Jack. Oh, hang on a minute, there it is.
