Hi listeners, before we get into this episode, something happened with the Riverside

recording platform and in some parts for Jack and I, there's a slight echo that unfortunately they've not been able to resolve.

We've been through a couple of rounds with technical support.

It's not too bad. I've had a listen, but we're not deaf to the fact that you can hear

a very slight echo in some point. So just putting that in early, but hopefully it doesn't

get in the way of listening to our usual ramblings.

Now, for today's episode, we recapped on some of the crowdfunding discussion from last episode

because that really got quite a few conversations happening in the ecosystem.

We talked about the Startup Daily Awards that have opened for applications.

We talked about accelerators and the new accelerator that's launched in Sydney called Build Club.

And we just talked about accelerators in general.

And then we got onto this theme of, there's a few different articles under the banner of VCs, either being too conservative,

being too risk adverse, being too biased, being too stupid, and being too lazy.

So there were a number of articles that we took that we unpacked that thread,

and we had a little bit of fun with that. And of course, finished with an eclectic random

collection of charts. I think there are a few

in there that will make for some interesting dinner party discussions. All right, well, we'll get into it.
