The first trial of the former officers charged in the killing of George Floyd is underway.

Police officers are rarely prosecuted in such cases and the world will be watching.

Today was a big day in court.

Janus took the stand in his own defense.

This was the first time he's told his story publicly, and his testimony is one of the biggest

pieces of the entire trial.

It will be critical to how the jury makes its decision.
