Welcome to another episode of Golick and Smetty. I am Mike Golick Sr. She is Jessica Smatna. And we are coming at you and

still in the NBA finals because as we said, it lasts for a year and a half. We have as the taping

of this is going on, we have just finished game five, which means only about another month to go.

As Golden State actually wins back-to-back games,

they win by 10 on Monday night to take a three-game to two lead

on Boston as a series goes back to Boston for game six.

If nothing else, Jess, I'm just hoping we get seven games, you know,

because right now you have what, a 12 point win, a smoking, I mean a 12 and it's a 19 point win,

16 point win, 10 point win and 10 point win. So, you know, I'm waiting for this last second

shot win or something to come down

at the end. We haven't gotten that yet. But if we get seven games, hopefully we will. But kudos to

Golden State at home when neither team could hit a three except Boston started hitting them in the

second half after I think starting out 0 for 12. But Steph Curry and Golden State, I think they were

nine of 40. It was horrific.

Steph not being the offensive firepower he was. Kudos to Andrew Wiggins.

You know, and Stan Van, or I'm sorry, Jeff Van Gundy said it on the broadcast. He said,

Wiggins has got to be aggressive. I mean, as soon as he said that, almost the words were

out of his mouth, Wiggins drove the lane and got to end one. And he was the leading score for

Golden State. So he stepped up, helped Golden State get the win on their home court to take that

league going back to Boston. But I got to figure Golden State without Steph Curry playing well like

he did in game five when he had 43 points.
