Like the thing about this game, I've been thinking about this since it ended. Like, I feel like if this happened at the beginning of the week, I'd be a lot more bummed than I am now. Yeah. They've just beaten me down for the past week so bad that now I'm just like, all right, fine.

There's a lot of things in this game I want to discuss, but like the game itself, it's very simple, Steve.

This team cannot help but dig itself into a hole and then expend a ton of energy chasing the game just to get it back

even again.

It's a bad strategy.

It doesn't work.

For the 36th time in 54 games, they allow the first goal.

They fall down 2-0 in the opening 7 minutes.

If not for a well-timed off-side challenge,

it would have been 3-0 at first intermission.

And guess what?

They were a different team in the final 40 minutes of regulation.

They looked solid.

They played even or better than the Kings the rest of the way.

They only gave up 10 shots on goal in the final 40 minutes.

But it doesn't matter how well you play in those 40 minutes if you can't at least figure

something out in the start of these games. It's getting red. I mean, it's beyond ridiculous.

It's getting ridiculous was December. Like, you know, tomorrow's February.

And it was almost a three nothing hole.
