Leadership has been the hot topic the last few days ever since.

I think it was on Tuesday after the loss to the Islanders.

Rick Tuckett had some quotes about the Flyers locker room.

There's a bunch of them, but the one I want to focus on is sometimes they're all

buddies and they're scared to say something. I find that a little bit with this team. The teams I've

played on are coached, the leadership get on each other in a good way. That's probably the next

level for this team. Now, we can debate whether it was a good way or not in Vancouver, as was a highly

publicized last year.

But the thing that people have been pointing to this quote is, man, this was kind of an

issue, at least thought to be an issue with Flyers teams in the late

Jeru Vorichek era where, yeah, it's a tight-knit locker room, everyone's cool, that's great,

happy to hear it, but sometimes it doesn't have to be buddy-buddy, sometimes you have to be

real with your teammates.

Do you think this is an indictment of not only Sean Couture's captaincy, but the old

core with TK. Sanheim, the guys who have been in those locker rooms and are now the

vets, guys wearing letters in this one?

Is it an indictment?

No, I'm not going to go so far as to say it's an indictment,

but it's something that they probably need to be a bit better at. Like, you look at these guys and really with the exception of Cotaria, Cotteria has been a been a team leader for a while. That's why he has the sea. But you look at Connect Me in Sandheim. They're kind of new to this. Like, they're not new to the team,
