Monday as I'm recording this middle of the afternoon the second of May and I have a number of podcasts I'm going to be recording actually today because I'm on a trip down south for the next week and

doing some projects but also visiting some friends and and so looking forward to that but that means I have a lot of

information that I want to get to you and some of that information is a little bit

discouraging and I was realizing this as I was putting it together

and so one of the things I want to do at the outset is give you a dose of the book of

Philippians. I was leading a discussion for someone I disciple this morning on this book and I want to talk a little bit about being grounded in a transcendent perspective.

Something that I think Paul had when he looked at his own life and being

even tied were linked to a Philippian jailer being in jail being persecuted for the

sake of the gospel really and how he looked at that

situation so I want to give you some of the hope that I think he had in the book of

Philippians and I want to though start by playing I'm going to do two things in this we're going to do that but I'm going to also play for you a clip and read a statement from enemies within the church because enemies within the church,

for those who don't know,

had a booth and a speaking spot at an event

put on last Saturday.

Actually, I think the event was hosted on by Citizens for America Foundation.

And the event was called Cultural Culture Engagement Summit and that was

Saturday and I was listening to the live feed and I talked about this in the last

podcast and you can go there if you want to see the other videos but Trevor

Louden who was

speaking on behalf of enemies within the church was cut off from his
