On August 27, 2006, 2-year-old Trenton Duckett was tucked safely into bed at his home in Leesburg, Florida.

But when his mother, Melinda Duckett, went to check in on him, she said that she found an open window, a sliced screen,

and an empty bed. She immediately called 911 launching a frantic search for the missing toddler.

But as investigators dug deeper, Melinda's story began to fall apart, and in its place were layers

of deception, bitter custody disputes, and a mystery that remains unsolved

to this day. When a person goes missing, there's a special kind of pain and they're not

to provide his reactions and questions in real time, hopefully asking some of the same ones you

familiar with.

But as I started looking into it, it is actually a case I've heard of, but unfortunately, not necessarily because of Trenton.
