pastor. He found a dead mule on the church grounds. He called the health department and they said they couldn't pick it up without approval from the mayor. Well, the mayor was known to be rude and hard to get along with. When the pastor called, the mayor didn't disappoint. He began to rant and rave. He finally said to the pastor, why are you even

bothering me? Isn't it your job

to bury the dead?

The pastor prayed and asked God for the right

response. He said, yes, Mayor, it is

my job to bury the dead, but I

always like to notify the next

of kin first.
