Summary

Comedians Travon Free (The Daily Show, Two Distant Strangers - Netflix) and Rob Corddry (The Daily Show, Hot Tub Time Machine) join Jameela for a masterclass in public humiliation, professional disaster, and the kind of moments that will forever wake you up at 3am.

Travon shares the teenage moment he thought he had twenty minutes of privacy with his girlfriend, until he very much did not, and then the career nightmare of accidentally emailing one of his scripts to the entire staff at The Daily Show, gifting the funniest people in television unlimited ammunition.

Rob relives the night he bombed so catastrophically while hosting a room full of movie stars that he instructed his wife to get the car running. The crowd froze, legends stared him down, and one extremely famous comedy god enjoyed every second of the collapse.

Along the way, Jameela reflects on falling spectacularly at her latest premiere, why disaster can feel hilarious mid-air, and the cringiest story of celebrity leftovers.

Dignity is not recovered. It rarely is.

This is just a free space to own our shame and humiliation together as a community.

Wee.

0:38.9

Hi.

My intro was written by your long time pal. Yes. Stuart Bailey, who you worked with on the daily show. Former producer. You guys have 20 years of beef. He's written your intros. I'm sorry. I can't wait. I am also thrilled to welcome a comedian, writer, director and actor,

1:11.4

and he's a five-time Emmy Award winner and Academy Award-winning filmmaker. So, eat shit. Cordy Stewart has told me to say. He's written for The Daily Show Forefrontal with Samantha B. It's Trayvon Free. Yay! Thank you for having me. This is great. Man, I actually have four and a half Emmys. How does that happen?

1:16.2

Because the correspondence on that, when I was on the Daily Show, the correspondence didn't get,

1:20.9

we weren't considered writers, so we weren't, didn't get Emmys.

1:29.7

And then, so, but we, Samantha B, Ed Helms and I went into John's office once, and he sat us down and there were three Emmys in like bubble wrap on the table. And he goes, and he's got this famously cluttered desk,

1:39.1

so many things on it. And he was like, each one of you can pick one thing off my desk. And Sam B calls it

1:47.6

our commemmy because it says commemorative in small writing of the back. Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, four and a half

1:55.3

times, still not five. I picked Donald Rumsfeld's book. I don't, I think that was more valuable.

2:01.6

I have zero Emmy. So I'm a nominee only.

2:04.7

I bow down to you both, and I am thrilled to be in your presence of greatness.
