All right.

We want to start with a message and a discussion about something that is so weird when you

think about it.

Who would have been able to predict this that the espionage act would eventually be used

against the citizen of Australia and be charged with espionage against the US government and

be locked up for 10 years without due process and foreign governments doing exactly what we

want them to do.

And the British feel proud of themselves because they have the system of justice and I guess

some deserve a little credit because some would have hung them by now.

But he's been tortured.

I don't think there's any doubt that the whole thing is tortured.

Matter of fact, that was one of the arguments that they've used that why they should not

bring them back or send them to the United States is the fact that the conditions would

be so bad it would be equivalent to cruel and unusual in a torture.

But our government said no, we wouldn't do that.

So we didn't do that in Guantanamo or any other place.

So don't worry about that.
