Welcome to our daily Rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

From November 5th until December 8th with each daily Rosary meditation

We are preparing to consecrate or reconsecrate ourselves to Jesus through Mary on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception December 8th.

So thank you for joining us. Now I imagine it's true for everyone, but I know for certain Americans love to travel.

In fact, when you talk to people about what they are looking forward to about their retirement,

often the very first thing they will say is they look forward to being able to travel.

That's an incredibly revealing thing. When people plan for the final

stage of their lives, the thing it's all been leading up to, when they have the

leisure time to do whatever they want, they say they want to

want to travel. Is that really the goal of life?

To make enough money, quit work and travel?

What is this enormous appeal of travel? And is it the sort of

appeal that is worldly, or is it Christian Christian or neither?

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name,

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses.

As we forgive those who trespass against us

and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from you
