Perhaps no concept in cruising is as difficult to know the hows, what's, and wise as travel insurance.

It's a complicated topic filled with lots of considerations, but we're going to tackle the basics of travel insurance and explain why you might need or want it for your next cruise.

Here we go.

With hurricane season really approaching its peak, I wanted to talk about an idea about planning for your cruise that a lot of people overlook or maybe don't consider all that well

until unfortunately it hits them. And we're talking about insurance for travel insurance

specifically. And, you know, this is a really interesting topic because I know my opinions

of this have changed over the years. And the answer, honestly, before you get into this episode

of your wondering, oh my gosh, is Matt saying we should all get travel insurance?

The answer is it depends and there is no set answer for everybody.

Travel insurance is an option.

And it's one of those things that you have to figure out on your own if it makes sense for you.

There is no set answer.

I mean, you could sit here and say, you know, everybody should get travel insurance.

Not everyone needs travel insurance.

It depends on your risk factors and a couple other things that may be different depending on you,

what coverage you have outside of travel insurance that begin with, and a few other factors as well.

So there's a lot of different considerations here.

And so this episode, I really want to frame this as an open discussion.
