But we're talking about Royal Caribbean ship classes on this episode. And let's talk

about what ship classes are. Because if you're new to Royal Caribbean, if you're new to cruising,

you're probably going to hear the term or read the term classes of ships or Oasis class or

Voyager class or Radians class. And to a new cruiser, this really is meaningless. It's like,

okay, what does that mean

exactly? Classes of ships are basically how Royal Caribbean categorizes its vessels. There's 20,

right now 26 ships in Royal Caribbean's fleet. Now, not all ships are the same and basically

each cruise line, including Royal Caribbean, classifies the ships, they group them based on their structure and the size of the ship and some of the amenities on board.

It's a lot like cars. Cars are a great example of this. When we talk about automobiles, there's a lot of kind of automobiles. You've got sedans, you've got compacts, you've got pickup trucks, you've got minivans, right? When you hear a minivan or you hear a pickup truck or you hear a sedan, there are certain types
