The new thriller Trap finds a father and daughter attending a concert put on by the daughter's favorite pop idol.

But all is not as it appears because this is a film by M. Knight-Shawlawn.

It quickly turns out that the entire concert is surrounded by police who are trying to catch a dangerous serial killer in the most difficult way possible.

So I want to say something about spoilers first.

There's a turn that they start to

reveal very early like in the first few minutes and it's also fully

revealed in the trailer for the movie that forms the setup and the premise for the

whole thing. So if you don't want to know about it, feel free to see the movie come back later. I'll just say the movie is a doozy. But otherwise, here we go. Josh Hartnett plays Cooper, a dad who's taking his teenage daughter Riley, played by Ariel Donahue, to a huge

stadium concert as a treat for getting good grades. The star of the show is Lady Raven, played by Salica, who is the musician daughter of director and writer M Knight-Shamalan.
