Today we are continuing this message series we've been in for a few weeks called Be Transformed.

And I have loved this message series.

We're doing a deep dive on Romans chapter 12.

And one of the things I've really loved about it is how Pastor Andy challenged all of us to

memorize chapter 12 together. And I don't know about you, I probably would not have

memorized Romans chapter 12 this month if Andy had not challenged us to do it, but I'm really glad

that I have. I probably also would not have read the entire New Testament eight weeks at the

beginning of this year if Pastor Andy had not challenged us to do that. And so everyone,

I'm just so thankful for the way that Andy's been driving that into us and like calling us to

deeper places in our spiritual journey. So I just thought it would be appropriate as a church family.

Could we just thank our pastor today for the way he's been leading us with so much courage?

Now, one thing that I was not quite as thankful for was last week when he called me up on stage

unexpectedly, to quote Roman 12 with him.

That was not very nice. That was, that was embarrassing. And one thing I noticed was how much some of you got a kick

out of watching us up here squirming and fumbling all over our words. And that also was not very

nice.

But there's something so powerful about memorizing scripture together

because that really is how God transforms our mind.

That's how we renew our minds that we can be transformed.

And so here we are again.
