The ushers have extra Bibles.

I would be glad to let you use one of ours.

And let's go to Romans the 12th chapter.

Romans 12 and 2 says,

Be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind

say it out loud be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Now, two things he tells us about here.

Conform has to do with being pressed into the same mold or shape.

And there are pressures in the world all around about us to conform, conform, you know.

Don't try to be different.

In their mind, don't try to be goody, goody, holier than thou.

I mean, if we cuss, you cuss.

If we do this, if we're immoral, you're immoral.

I mean, we're just people.

And the conformity, the pressures, people talk about peer pressured.

That's not just with teenagers.

That's not just at grade school and high school and college.

That's all through life.

There's pressure to conform.

And what did the scripture tell us?'t do it don't do it when

there are things trying to press us to not be like the master and be like the ungodly world around
