This is what he does in every story.

He is revealing something of his glory, and it's not a glory that they were understanding.

He's opening a window on his glory, not that we might get excited about how useful he is to our unregenerate cravings, but how powerful he is to transform our cravings so that he becomes our satisfaction.

Can seeking Jesus ever be spiritually dangerous?

I am the living bread that came down from heaven.

He's getting real specific now.

It's even going to get more so as he goes.

If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.

Now there are at least three things they don't see about this bread.
