tracker tells me that as we record, which is Wednesday, August 24th, 1374 deals have been done

by Europe's top five leagues to the tune of $4.1 billion, the majority of those dollars

coming and going from the Premier League. Why don't we start off, guys, by going around the

houses and looking at the deals that we like the most so far that had been done this summer.

Now, Joe, I'm looking at our running order and the top name on here is a name that I didn't

actually realize had left his club until a few days after he had done so. It's Timo Verna going to Arby Leipzig. What do you make of that one? You've listed this one as a best deal so far. Ryan, I thought you were going to make way more fun of me for picking Timo Verner on this list you did either me or Timo Verner. I'm frankly shocked at how pleasant and sort of passive that was,

but I'm not going to complain. So I have this on the list of best deals for a few different reasons. So one is strictly from a business standpoint for RB Leipzig. So let's rewind a couple of years now. Timo Verner is joining Chelsea. It's 2020.. He's joining from RB Leipzig for 53 million euros.

Now we fast forward back to the present. And he's going back to R.B. Leipzig for 30 million euros. So there's wages. There's agent fees. There's a whole lot more that goes into transfers than just transfer fees. and there's things that I don't know

and that we don't know about the monetary side of this deal.

But on the surface, I would be surprised

if Leipzig didn't make a pretty tidy profit from
