I'm delighted to be here with you today.

And in this week's episode, what I wanted to do was touch on this idea of living with

uncertainty.

And I want to share a few practices to help ground our energy when we're dealing with suffering.

Considering the results of the election, last week, it's been a pretty intense week in Washington, D.C.

93% of people in D.C., if you don't know, this actually voted for Hillary Clinton.

And so no matter what, who you voted for, if you didn't vote, this actually voted for Hillary Clinton. And so no matter what, who you voted for,

if you didn't vote, wherever you are on this spectrum, my hope is that this week's podcast will be

a great resource for you for dealing with any sort of suffering. I think particularly if you're

not dealing with suffering around the election, someone you know probably is. And we all

experience suffering, if not really on a daily basis, you know, from time to time if it's not,

you know, dealing with traffic or dealing with a loved one being upset with us, whatever it is.

You know, suffering comes about And we see things on the streets

on a regular basis from a dog, maybe that is suffering in some capacity. A child that's crying

on the city bus, a homeless person, you know, asking for food. So these practices can help with

grounding in these situations.

And I also wanted to let you know that I put quite a few resources on my blog last week

for ways to deal with the post-election kind of upset.
