I obviously survived running a 10K. Now let's talk about it.

Hi everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Papa Bear Hikes. As you heard, yep, I did it.

And I quit it. I'm not going to do another 10K.

I'm going to stick the 5Ks.

I don't feel like it was any sort of victory for me that, hey, I ran a 10K, hurrah.

No, I accidentally signed up as a 10K, as many of you know.

And I said, all right, well, I'm going to, I'm going to just do it. I'm not going to go through

the trouble going online. Yeah, I'm going to be a little lazy. I don't have the time to

give up to figure out how to switch it from a 10K or 5K, and I ran it. And yeah, well, I could say

sort of. I went a little over 10K. And I'll live with that. It's not like I came in under.

I was a little, or I was just a little over. And I did it and if anybody's just curious, 71 minutes.

So that's it. Now I focus on 5Ks from here on out. And I'll be running another one of those in well two weeks from now i also

want to talk about my upcoming trip to the state of washington i don't have a lot to talk about

that's what's funny about it because i'm a month away and still don't know exactly where i'll be hiking

leaning towards doing a section of the p ct possibly Mount St. Helen, all I know is I'm going

and I'm going to get a backpacking trip in. That excites me. That excites me. Living in Florida,

not too many opportunities to get a good backpacking trip in. In fact, I'm very disappointed this

winter. I wasn't able to get any backpacking trips in.

I felt living in Florida.

I hit the Florida Trail a couple of times.

Just did not happen.

I've got a lot of things going on beyond the podcast and beyond backpacking that have not allowed me to get out and do these things.
