When I'm in a place maybe I'm on my bike and trying to get through the city and I'm getting up there about the cars and

People are walking in my way and so on and then I can say hey why we are here on the street because we want to go from A to B and I say okay so you pass first I can stop it's not so important.

Welcome to episode 55 of the recovery show.

We are friends and family members of alcoholics and addicts who have found a path to serenity and happiness. We who live or have lived with the seeming and our own attitudes and we believe that changed attitudes can aid recovery.

Today we're going to talk about tradition one which says our common welfare should

come first. Personal progress for the greatest number depends upon unity.

And we'll be exploring what those words mean

and how we use them in our meetings

and how we use them in our personal life.

Before we begin, we would like to state that though we at the Recovery Show may be in a 12-step program, we represent ourselves rather than the program.
