and we've had a bunch of prospects traded at the trade deadline. So just a ton of stuff to get to.

I thought the top 400 update went really well, so I'd definitely recommend checking that out if you haven't already.

The team top 20s are updated to reflect all of the trades. I haven't quite added every player

from the 2024 draft to those team top 20s, but everyone from the top 400 is on there so far.

And those should be fully updated and fully robust here in the month of August.

And the next thing I'll be working on after this episode and ensuing article will be the dynasty rankings update,

final dynasty rankings update of the regular season.

So keep your eye out for that, hopefully early next week for those dynasty rankings update.

Okay, let's get into, I had a lot of questions from people just about, you know, which

prospects got, you know, benefit the most from getting traded and having kind of a clear

path to playing time, that sort of thing.

So I'm going to kind of go through some of the prospects that I sort of think fit the bill there.

To me, the biggest theme of this trade deadline was that the hitters that got traded, for the most part, were bat first players, guys who were going to be second baseman first baseman designated

hitters left fielders you did not see teams moving players that they thought could be quality

you know two you know offense and defense short stops offense and defense center fielders

you know good defensive third baseman, those types

of players were just not getting moved here. So we had a lot of teams sort of trading from excess of

players that just weren't going to provide enough value on both sides of the ball to realistically

play a bunch for them. And that starts with Nick York, who got traded from the Red Sox to the Pirates.
