I'm here with Jeff Spiegel on the Dodger Heads podcast. I did some appearances with them last year as well. They're part of the Dodger Blue Network, Dodger Nation, if you will. Jeff, welcome to the show. Thanks for joining me today. It's really good to get reacquainted with each other. Yeah, it's fun to be back with you. I know I missed our conversations from last year.

We've kind of shifted some of the stuff we're doing, but it's good to be on here to talk baseball with you, to talk Dodgers, although, you know, I joked with you right before coming on. Today isn't the best day to be the guy that's coming on to talk Dodgers, but, you know, it's a long season. And it's, it's August 1st.

Well, I feel like, just like last night's postgame show, uh, I think it's a long season. It's, it's August 1st. We got some time. Well, I feel like, just like last night's postgame show, I think it's a good day because you're here to talk us off the ledge. There you go. Roger fans off the ledge at least. And just calm the waters and knowing what's happening here. Pitching has the start of the story here with the Dodgers. Um, it has to be starts off.

Clayton Kershaw was terrible yesterday. Only two swings and misses. No strikeouts. Uh, he's had two starts. Now, I, I'm willing to give a little bit of a grace because this is just a second start

after coming back from a shoulder problem, but nonetheless, still very concerning. Yeah. No,

I'm with you.

Second start, like you mentioned, only made three starts in the minor leagues after missing basically a full 12 months with an injury that ended up being his first major arm

surgery of his career.

And so it wasn't pretty last night.

Seven runs allowed.

I think only three of them ended up earned, partly because of

one of his own errors, misfielding a bunt. And so there's absolutely reason for concern with

Clayton Kershaw. I'm kind of a wait and see patient type person. I'm not jumping to positive

conclusions. I'm not jumping to negative conclusions. But, you know, we saw this with Walker Bueller.
