Hello and welcome to White Wine Question Time. How are you? Congratulations. We've made

it through January. We're tiptoeing our way into February now. Feels good, doesn't it?

And speaking of feel good, I cannot wait for you to get your ears around my guest this

week. She's an actress, a writer, narrator, an activist who starred in Doctor Who. After

life, EastEnders, yes. She was Chrissy Watts, who famously bludgeoned to death dirty

den. She's been in Friday night dinner as Antivale, and most recently, in Russell T. Davis's

achingly brilliant It's Is In. With more than 600 radio plays to her credit and a CV that

includes four years with the RSC, she came to public prominence, playing opposite Kenneth

Brano in Edmund at the National Theatre. In fact, she worked with Kenneth Brano again recently.

When he starred in one of the many plays, she's written for Radio 4. This one's called

That Dinner of 67, which tells the story behind the making of who's coming to dinner.

I filmed that broken you ground, telling that the story of interracial love, which originally

starred Sidney Wattier, Spencer Tracy, and Catherine Hepburn. London-born and bred, she still

lives in the capital with her husband Rob, and their teenage daughter Anushka. And in the

last 18 months, has been incredibly vocal, campaigning and speaking out against anti-semitism,

which you can hear more about on her brilliant podcast, Trolled, which deals with Trolling,

not only the Trolling that she's received, but includes guests like Gary Linnaker, for

example, coming on and sharing their own experiences of being Trolled and standing up to online

bullying. I last saw her in that early December when we flew to Ireland together to work just

before Tier 4 hit. It felt like we were going off on our holidays. We were giddy, so let's
