in our tracking the trail recruiting podcast series we've kicked off recently. Today, big news again

for Notre Dame after recently landing a top 100 recruits.

Notre Dame lands another top 100 defensive back per 24-7 sports rankings and

Mark Zachary out of Indianapolis.

Ben Davis, one of the top schools in the state, state champions recently.

You know, we've got those couple of schools over there that turn out, you know,

the types of, you know, four-star recruits in that, you know,

fairly often, Notre Dame ends up recruiting Ben Davis, Warren Central,

some good talent there right now across multiple classes.

Mark Zachary may be the best of the bunch. Eric, I know that you

wrote some reporting on him recently, looked into him. We'll get into his skill set in that,

but in the big picture, you know, what are your thoughts on this commitment? Like what kind of

immediately comes to mind for you? Yeah, it's,

it's definitely significant when you look at the, when you look at the big picture of the

defensive back class and you see two top 100 guys committed at corner and another committed

at safety, it's definitely just a massive stacking of talent in this year's, uh, in this year's class.

I'm really impressed by the ability to make these dominoes fall in quick succession.

That's something I covered in my article a couple weeks ago.

And at the time,

I was anticipating that this was going to take place in the summer,

that we would see a couple quick commitments like this.
