brings together one of your favourite subjects, railways and one of your favourite places,

Derby, because Derby has been named the home of the Great British Railways HQ, which means

it's beat five other locations to become the hub for the nation's railways which is going

to bring more skilled jobs to the area.

And this is just one of the developments taking place in Derby and we had a question on

ask Rob and Rob last week about how to spot an area that's got growth potential but since

recording that we found another article which we'll link to in the show notes that summarises

everything that's going on in Derby and everything that's planned and even if you're not

interested in Derby in itself, I think it's really worth looking at because it's a good

example of all the things that we're looking for when trying to identify areas that are

on the up because it's got a mix of government funding, private funding, multiple regional

developers choosing to build there, build to rent developments being announced which

we said before is a really good sign.
