Where this Sunday we're going to be advising a landlord who is so spooked by the

So let's get straight into this month's update because there's loads going on especially in the realms of politics as I've said.

Lots to cover there but let's start as we always do with House prices.

Well, after we recorded last month's update, Halifax figures for August came out showing a drop.

Halifax figures for September have not yet come out, but nationwides have, and they

showed house prices as being flat throughout September, which puts the 12-month decline for nationwide

at 5.4 percent and Halifax at 4.6%

so around about 5% off the peak.

That's being spun in the headlines as the biggest fall for 14 years or whatever which is true but also completely

unsurprising because haven't really been any falls in that time so not

particularly exciting in itself what everyone wants to know Rob is what's going
