Summary

Tyler Bereman is a badass when it comes to riding his dirkbike but that is only part of what makes Tyler so special. He's the kid who was born into a motorcycle family and while he didn't have the same finances as his competitors to make his supercross dreams happen, after some ups and downs, he made it. But Tyler is so much more than that: He's a 10 time X Games Medalist, a content creator, and an event visionary who's imagination creates some of the most unique features on the planet. It's a great story and Ryan Runke asks the Inappropriate Questions. Welcome to the Powell Movement.

0:16.8

I'm your host Mike Powell,

0:18.4

and this week I'm still really annoyed that it's not summer yet in the Pacific Northwest.

0:23.3

I mean, what the hell? It's June, and we continue to get inundated by rain.

0:27.6

It seems to fall most weekdays and every weekend, and it totally blows.

0:31.9

I know I'm always complaining about something, and if you want a happy intro, I'm not your podcast.

0:38.2

I tend to complain about my life for the industry or something, and I'm not really sure why. Maybe it

0:43.1

makes me feel better about myself. Who knows? Really, I have a ton of problems, and they are all

0:48.6

insignificant first world problems that I place too much importance on. So I start complaining

0:53.4

about the weather,

0:58.9

but what's interesting about our summers here is that when the weather turns, Seattle has the best weather and is the best city in the country, minus the homeless issues and the human feces on the

1:04.4

street and the high cost of living and the car break-ins and the closed bridges. But the funny part for

1:09.7

me is that I go on vacations for about

1:11.6

half of the summer, and you can bet that every day I'll be gone, the weather will be perfect in

1:16.5

Seattle, and I'll return to straight-up fall. And while I'll miss some of the best Seattle weather

1:21.3

every year, I can live without it because I'm usually in a great place. This summer, I'm going on

1:26.8

an Alaska cruise, and who could complain about the cruise my dad is taking us on? Well, I'm usually in a great place. This summer, I'm going on an Alaska cruise.

1:28.2

And who could complain about the cruise my dad is taking us on?

1:31.2

Well, I can.

1:32.6

And while he gave me his credit card to pay for everything, which was super nice,
