Welcome to the Powell Movement. I'm your host Mike Powell, and this week there is no long, deep intro talking about race or the flu.

I'm going to acknowledge that the country's a fucked up place,

encourage everyone to register to vote, and wear a mask.

But that's all you're going to get on the issues from me this week.

What I'm excited to talk about is my record in competitive drinking.

I'm recording this on a Wednesday, but by the time you listen to

this on Monday, I should be 27 and 1 in these weekly competitions. That is an incredible record,

and you can watch the replays or request to get in on the best challenge on the internet

by following me at the Powell Movement over on Instagram. Now, I'm going to jump right into my guest this week, and Brad Holmes is a living legend

in the world of free skiing. He's one of those dudes that doesn't need an introduction.

And if you don't know about Brad Holmes, then that makes this a must-listen podcast for you.

And everyone who does know who Brad Holmes is, well, you should be psyched

for what's to come. I've been working on getting Brad to do a podcast for the past four years,

and I finally got him to record. Now there are only two people that have said yes multiple times.

I've done the research for them, recorded the inappropriate questions for them, but still

haven't done the interviews.

I'm still chasing them after four years. While they aren't big names, it's all about principal. And when you say you're going to do something multiple times, well, you should do

what you said you're going to do. You should keep your word. I'm not going to name names, but

Kevin and Greg, you know who you are. Sorry, I had to vent there, and kids out there, if you want to go places in the world,

start with being on time and doing what you say you're going to do.

But that doesn't always matter, I guess, which is why I'm still chasing these interviews.
