I am very intrigued on how you guys are moving through situations and kinships like these.

I want to remind you that family operates just like people. Just because they are a kinship doesn't mean that they qualify for something better in your life.

It doesn't mean that you excuse the things that they do.

Matter of fact, the fact that they are family makes it

worse. You know, I think often it is very difficult to have difficult conversations when it

comes to family because many of us have been taught to embody the nature of family, the

cohesiveness and the love that we have for each individual

person that represents a permanent place in our lives. But no one talks about the difficulty

it is and keeping someone in the family who is toxic by the way in which they show up are the

things that they say. It is difficult

to make the decision as in yourself to separate yourself from family when you know the things

that they're doing and saying is hurting you, damaging you, that they are not implementing

ways to just make you feel normal, human.

They are pulling from you.

There are settings in families where there are toxic sisterhoods and brotherhoods,

siblinghoods where you are a cohesive and beautiful unit as children. There might have been some

underlining sibling rivalry that just seemed or appeared to be what children do, but it may have

grown into something that is now full grown and you understand that your sibling has an issue with you that is more
