because it wasn't just Germany that depleted their gold reserves. I mean, France, the UK,

like they all went off the gold standard. They all spent their treasure. And, you know,

who was selling them arms? The United States. And we demanded payment in gold. We also demanded

payment of war debts in gold.

So we basically sucked up three-fourths of the world's gold reserves in the first half of the 20th century because we were the creditors to all these countries.

And that's the story of the U.S. lies to superpower, basically.

Exactly. So again, you follow the gold and you follow the geopolitical power.
