light introduction to the Pyrenees today with stage 16 from Carcassant 2, 479 kilometres long

with a couple of lumps in the first 40Ks and then two major climbs, two cat ones. They give a few

points for KOM competition port de laire, 11.5 kilometres at 6.7% with the flat beforehand.

All the riders should be pretty close on such a climb with the drafting, then a descent straight

into the Murder Piguet, which is 9.4Ks at 7.6% absolute textbook definition of a fake news climb

with the first five kilometres at 5% and the last four and a half kilometres, or the next three

and a half, at about 11.4%. So a climb of two halves, the last half certainly taken longer

before a sort of shallow descent of 27km into Fua, which is actually the closest, none of the

closest I got to my house was Taras Concert, but I didn't want to go as one road from my house

out there and it'd be chopped out with traffic. Although there weren't too many spectators on the

climb today, very, very hot down there, not as hot up here. But this show is always as
