We're in Mourette going towards Carcasson in pretty mild temperatures for this region,

28 degrees, the average of the stage. But the profile is quite difficult, heavy roads all day,

add some narrow descents at the end, 170Ks, three categorized climbs,

a cat three that comes after 70Ks, 1.7Ks at 6.2%. The intermediate sprints after 2 and a half

case at 3%. They didn't do a cat 3 that's 6.3Ks at 6%. And then, but it keeps going up afterwards,

then the hardest climb of the days to do par du cent, 3Ks, 9.2%. It it keeps going up afterwards. And the hardest climate is to do Pas du Saint, 3K's 9.2%.

It still keeps going up after that, a horrible false slap before then a narrow road.

And it's like 45Ks of rolling downhill to the finish.

Clearly one for the breakaway because, yeah, Trek aren't going to control for Milan and Intermarshe and Israel were just

going to go on the break.

And anything else before the stage, Benji, some pre-stage news?

I've got some pre-stage notes for us to talk about.

First of all, there's something we missed in yesterday's stage that I really want to bring up

because it was quite a funny moment. On the call to Tourmalé, Al-Filippe was about to top the climb, and we said it yesterday, super rainy conditions, and there's a woman by the side of the road with like a cardboard sign saying, something related to Alphenard, we'll get to what's on the cardboard in a bit, but Al-A-Filippe moves to the

right side of the road, ribs the cardboard

in half, and shoves the cardboard

under his jersey. Patrick, for the people

that are new to the sport of cycling,

why would Al-Filippe put something under his jersey

over the top of a climb?
