podcast, the recap of stage 8 of the tour of France.

It's a rinse and repeat of last year's stage 8, which Mads Pedersen won

in an uphill sprint.

It's from Simur onOshwa to Columbia-Lades-E-Duzigli's 183.4 kilometers long rolling hills all day. A few of them are actually quite steep, like over 7% gradient, including three at the start.

After 20k's, there's a collection of three hills, 2k 7%, 2.3k 6% and 3k 6% then the final.

It gets a little bit easier easier let's say in the last 40

K's there's still more hills and then the finish is a they come down a quick

descent straight line and then into an uphill kicker. I think there was headwind, but not too steep. It's not like a

puncher's effort. You would still say it's a fit sprinter's effort, as how I would say it so still the

ackman's of this world in play. But Benji one of the we said yesterday that

this stage was absolutely nailed on sprint it can this sort of stage can very well go to the

breakaway in some years, but we said nailed on sprint because we had too many

teams wanting to chase, but one of those teams lost their man for the stage book this morning.
