Welcome back to the Lantern Rouge cycling podcast with Benji Nyson.

This is our Tour de France recap. Tomorrow we will have our World Championships preview.

It never stops in the 2020s Parkland calendar. The UCI is trying to kill the riders and us with this condensed calendar.

But we're a couple of days late. We do a couple of days off after a frenetic Tour de France, our first podcast.

Well, our first grand tour together on the podcast, Benji. What have you been up to the last two days?

You've been back into full-time work, haven't you?

Yes, yes, yes. But it feels like it has become routine.

And I think that for people that listen every day, that's probably the same thing.

I've got that with TV shows or watch with podcasts. I follow that.

I feel like whenever that one day, it's not there. I heard it.

And when recording it, it was fun to have that rest day off. But yeah, I'm glad to be back.

Yeah, me too. I enjoyed recording pretty much every podcast.

It's sometimes watching the stages that it can be a bit of a grind when you know nothing too much is going to happen.

But we're going to do this. We're not going to recap every stage.

Obviously uploaded on the podcast. If you're on a long ride, you've got no friends with you.

Go and listen to them if you want to. They're all pretty good in their own right.

But I'm going to quickly recap what happened in the tour as briefly as possible without going to the stages too much.
