Johnny Long, where are we?

Set the scene for me.

We are at a crowded bar on the riverfront in Bordeaux.

We've been walking back and forwards past this row of bars all day and just

record the it's just a perfect refreshment and then we're like right we'll just record the

podcast here because looks inviting a bit atmosphere we've got here

and it is so unbelievably loud and so packed

that not only are we having to lean in to hear each other everyone around us is

kind of staring at us in a like I feel like we're in proper France now because like everyone's kind of being a bit mean.

We were told that we couldn't sit somewhere because three people couldn't sit there and it was a lie.

She just lied to us. She's making up the rules yeah. Yeah, but we do have friends on the next table. They I used my one phrase

Jeunapal-Parf Franca and they were very pleased they said whoa and then I clinked my plastic not

plastic paper beer cup we we aren't allowed glassware here we're not

trusted meanwhile everyone I forget about how this is in Europe but

everyone has just chain smoking at all times yeah it's insane. I'm not gonna lie

it looks kind of fun. I think it might just be something about being in France,

like, just the urge to just like

one shot at an entire cigarette

is overwhelming for a dory.
