Not long ago I was traveling to a certain city to preach and I was in a hurry. Are you ever in a hurry?

And I was driving too fast and a nice police officer reminded me of that.

And you may say, oh, I've had that same experience. You know the sick feeling in the pit of your

stomach when something stops you when you're in a hurry. The truth of the matter is, we're all too in a

hurry. We talked about this recently in Mark chapter 1. The Lord Jesus was not too hurried to pray,

but I want to show you not only that, he was not too in a hurry for people. And I think this is so

beautiful. Our busy Savior, you know, busyness is an activity. You can be busy. There's nothing

wrong with that. You ought to be busy for the Lord. But hurry is an attitude. Our busy Savior still had a heart for the Father and he had a heart for

other people. You know, hurry steals the heart away, doesn't it? It robs us of so much. And after the Lord

Jesus has been in communion with the Father and goes out to minister,

the Bible says in Mark chapter 1, verse 40, and there came a leper to him, beseeching him and

kneeling down to him and saying unto him, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus, moved with

compassion, put forth his hand and touched him, and saith unto him, I will, be thou clean.

And as soon as he had spoken, immediately, immediately, the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

And he straightly charged him, and forthwith sent him away, and saith unto him, see thou say thou say nothing to any man but go thy way show thyself to the priest and offer for thy cleansing those things which moses commanded for a testimony unto them but he went out and began to publish it much and to blaze abroad the matter in so much that that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city,

but was without in desert places, and they came to him from every quarter. The chapter opened

with Jesus in the wilderness, and it closes with him in the desert because he's in such demand now.

People are looking for him. The masses are coming to him. And do you know why the masses want to be
