Summary

No person who has ever lived had more to do than the One who said, "I must be about my Father's business." Yet He never seemed to be in a hurry! His words and works grew out of His private times of communion with His Father. In our busy world we must learn not to hurry past the Lord. Make time for prayer. all the time. Some of it is personally created. Some of it is just our own pride. We'd like to talk

1:08.1

about how much we have to do. Some of it is the pressure that

1:11.2

comes on us from other people and things we have to get done. In Mark chapter one, we find one of

1:17.5

Christ's busiest days. As a matter of fact, theologians have often referred to Mark

1:21.7

Chapter 1 as Christ busy day in Copernium. I mean, look at this one day. This is an amazing day. In one day,

he preaches, he calls his first disciples, he cast out a devil, he heals Peter's mother-in-law.

1:42.9

Jesus would really have no time for prayer. But in fact, it's the

1:47.6

exact opposite. You see, the Lord Jesus was busy all the time. Remember, he said, I must be about

my father's business. I would argue that there was never a busier man that ever lived, because there
