Welcome into the latest edition of ESPNSC. I'm Dan Thomas, joined the studio today by Craig

Burley and Shaka Hisslock. No surprise where we're going to start today's show. And that's

an old Trafford, where Manchester United got knocked out of the car of our Cup, the defending

champions losing 3-0 to Newcastle. Frank LeBuff joins us, but Craig, I want to start

with you. How bad is this for you, United?

Minitum, you've known me to be lost for words. I don't know. I've not many. It's so bad.

I don't know where to start. I've sort of got my head in my hands gone. We've talked

about this so much. We've talked about this United side, this season so much and how bad

it's been. That was a new low and I'm now like, where do you start here? Because Newcastle

coughed up an opportunity with their injuries, with all the competitions they've got coming

up in particular, the Champions League, which they are going to be competitive in all

of these competitions, maybe not the Champions League all the way through. But the other

competition, we're man United and not. So they have all these things to think about. Suspensions,

injuries, put a team out that had at least seven players you wouldn't say were regular

starters. And United put out, all right, they left out some of the big heads, Rashford,

Fernandez, Rasmus, Holland didn't start, but they still played Castamero and others.

I'm going back, come on, one in the circuit, come on at half time and I'm going back.

That was a bit strange, some more strange substitutions. Bruno Fernandez, come on in the

second half with Rashford, guess what, he mounted the referee a few times, just for a change.

So I really, I mean, it's just another shambles, there's no other way to describe it. And

we saw so many cutaways of the manager again Eric Ternhag because it's the flavor of the
