Welcome into latest edition of ESPN FC, I'm Dan Thomas Shaw in the studio today by Craig Burley and Stevie Nickle.

We spoke at length and we're over the last few days about Manchester United and their continued failing.

Somewhat overshadowing, then Chelsea, of course, back to losing ways at the weekend as they lost home against

Brentford. They're in action tomorrow and the carabell cup at home again to Blackburn, a game which

Minister of Potatino is hoping, can once again, kickstart their season.

I told you before we start the season, I've seen competitions like carabell cup or FAA Cup

that are going to be really important for us. I've seen tomorrow we're going to try to play

with our best team. Some players that maybe we need to rest because we need to

give some rest because after the Saturday game, we cannot take some risk but in general we are going

to try to put our best team to go through to the competition. It's important and to try to build

another momentum and after go to Tottenham and then to receive to Manchester City with the

trust and the confidence that we can be them also. James Oli joins us. James, you are at the Brentford

game. I imagine after a little bit of optimism from what we saw before from Chelsea, that very much

took the wind out of their sails. How was the crowd reacting? Well, to be honest, there was a bit of

apathy really because I don't think it's anything different to what they've seen. Obviously the back

end of long from much of last season, particularly towards the end of last season under Frank Lampard.

And then for early parts of this season, it's been more of the same. I know that there was a lot

written in certain places about whether they turned a corner after a couple of winds against

Burnley and Fulham and obviously they played well against Arsenal for a while. And I actually

felt maybe in my match because I've been a little bit too harsh on them after they drew two

to against Arsenal whereas some people were right and they turned a corner. And I was sort of

suggesting well maybe they'd not actually got that statement win that they needed because as good
