Hello, and welcome back to day 33, the final day of these 33 days of preparation for total consecration to Jesus through Mary here on the Catholic Spouse podcast. Congratulations.

You're so close. You are almost ready to give yourself totally to Jesus and Mary will help you do that every day. So we have come so far.

We have spent time talking about vice and looking to Mary as an example of virtue.

We've talked about what it means to be a human being, what we were created for and destined

for.

It talked about Mary, the role that she plays in our own path toward heaven.

And these last few days, we have been talking about Jesus Christ,

who is the Messiah, who is Emmanuel, who is the carpenter's son, our teacher, the bread of

life, the Lamb of God, who is our Savior, who is the risen Lord, the light of the world. And today, finally, who is the risen Lord, the light of the world.

And today, finally, who is our friend?

Now, perhaps that feels like it's not the most powerful title for Jesus to end on,

that he is our friend.

But I think it is.

Now, here is something that I really want you to reflect on.

Jesus deeply desires friendship with you.

He desires it so much.

When he died on the cross, he spoke of being thirsty,
