Hello, and welcome back to day 27 of this 33 day preparation for total consecration to Jesus through Mary. Today we are starting at the third and final part of

this preparation. Before we do that, though,

let's review all that we have already covered. So we spent the first part of this preparation

examining vice and virtue. Jesus demonstrated these vices for us through the parables that he told to teach when he was on earth.

And then through the example of Mary, we saw the virtue.

Next, we looked exclusively at what it means to be a human being, what it means to be created by God, placed on this earth, and to be questing after heaven our whole life.

Lastly, in the section we just covered, we talked about Mary.

We understood how she was chosen, the role she plays in our life now, and the role that she plays

forever in heaven.

Now, in this final part, we are going to turn our full attention to Jesus.

Remember, we are preparing to give ourselves totally to Jesus. To do this, we need to do a couple of

things. First of all, we need to understand Jesus. We need to learn about him,

which we will be doing by looking at a few of his titles that he is given not only in the

Bible, but also in our church. But let me tell you, knowing about Jesus is not enough. We must

know him. We must encounter him. We must desire to spend

time with him to allow him to learn about us as we listen to him. And we do this most clearly

when we encounter the Eucharist. When we are at Holy Mass and we receive communion,
