During the afternoon hours of March 16, 2023, a 45-year-old woman named Eleanor Huntin Hoppe got into her small

SUV and began the one-and-a-half-hour drive from her home in Charlottesville, Virginia,

to a hotel located in Warrington, a small town about an hour west of the nation's capital.

To say that Eleanor was excited for this brief road trip would be an understatement.

She had been planning it for weeks, and as her car took the on-ramp to U.S. 29 North,

and the white noise of rubber on asphalt began to hum away.

Sexual fantasies flooded Eleanor's mind.

But these were not normal sexual fantasies, and this was not a normal road trip.

Eleanor didn't know it at the time, but the man she was planning to meet was not who

he said he was.

He didn't have an eight-year-old daughter like he and Eleanor had discussed in their chats.

The man was in fact an undercover FBI agent. and when Eleanor reached the hotel where she was

planning to stay with this man and his non-existent eight-year-old daughter, she was promptly arrested
