I'm a grateful and blessed alcoholic and I'm glad to be here.

Little do you realize, you give an Irish alcoholic

50 minutes to talk about himself and alcohol,

you're lucky if you get away in a couple of hours.

Because I love talking about Joe, you know. But in the past all I ever spoke was bullshit. I try not to do the same today. And I say I'm blessed,

you know, it doesn't matter what's going on in my life.

I'm blessed because I don't need to get in feelings

or I don't need to use alcohol to block things out anymore.

I've learned to go through difficulties without a drink and I've learned out to handle life.

I've reading the daily reflection for today is about, you know, passing this message to other

alcoholics and practice these principles in all our affairs.
