I remember the Prince Edward Group out in Etobico and I'm here to talk a little bit about keeping it fresh and hopefully there'll be some ideas and experience that were part of my sobriety

And I was really grateful for Katie's talk on Friday night because she touched on

something that's in my notes here which I can't read my own handwriting so it's just

my security blanket that I have here in case I get stuck but if you know me I'm not usually at a loss for words or

opinions so but she touched on the chronological factor of AA and I got sober in my late 20s, early 30s,

and it was very different than for what I needed to keep recovery fresh.

And my experience was that a lot changed when I stopped drinking.

Like just not drinking changed a whole bunch.

I crawled through the doors of AA and I embraced and fell in love with Alcoholics

Anonymous and I was relieved that I had a disease and I took as many or all of the suggestions and more to maximize the chances of my recovery and staying sober.

And so what I did was I recovery and staying sober.
