Good evening everybody. My name is Chris and I am an alcoholic. Somewhere on or around

December 28th, 1989, I had my separation experience struggled my way back into alcoholics and

economists with a renewed determination to participate to a level that might actually

work. From that period of time, I've always been sponsored, and since somewhere around

October 1990, I've always sponsored, always participated with the home group, always found

service commitments, and learned that my life depended on practicing spiritual principles

that I learned in the book of alcoholics and economists. All of that has enabled the

grace of God to be thick enough on me so that I've been separated from alcohol all these

years, and in effect, I've been reborn, like it talks about, in the book of alcoholics

and economists. There's some wonderful, wonderful things that are going on in my life.

If you would have seen me back in the 80s, what kind of a mess I was, you would never have

predicted that I would have been able to accomplish anything that I would have been able to get

out of my own way. All of this makes me incredibly grateful to alcoholics and economists. Grateful

to this group, to ask me up so many times to kind of celebrate alcoholics and economists

on its perfect, and to talk a little bit about the history and a little bit about its

relevance today, and sometimes even about some of the challenges that alcoholics and

economists is facing today, and some of the responsibility that we need to take on as
