My name is Peter, I am an alcoholic, and I call myself a recovered alcoholic because

the obsession to drink has been removed, and the subtle insanity that takes me back

to the first drink is in remission, because I am still an alcoholic. I may be recovered,

but I am still an alcoholic. Okay, so chapter working with others, I'm going to give

some background to stop it. It's very important that I do this, because I'm an alcoholic,

and this book, Alcoholics Non-Muslim, was written by alcoholics, and they're sharing

their experience of alcoholism and recovery from alcoholism in this big book. That's

very important to know. One thing that my sponsor wrote in my book when he bound it was

just inside the inside cover, he said, we drifted into compromise and called it tolerance.

What that means is that we compromised the program of alcoholics non-mus, because some

of us thought that everybody could recover in alcoholics non-mus. We went through a period

of time when alcoholics non-muslim was almost disappeared in the 1960s. What we have in

our college non-mus is a singleness of purpose, and I think this is very, very important, particularly

today, because we have lots and lots of stuff online and stuff and whatever, and there's

some folks out there that are not identifying with what they are. Now, I was searching

around yesterday for some stuff, and I found a wonderful little talk by Bill Wilson,

that's about 15 minutes, who talks about the singleness of purpose in our college non-mus.

He also said, like me, that we don't deal with pure alcoholics in our college non-mus.
